What is Woodland Reiki?

Woodland Reiki is an ancient healing technique developed by myself, that connects with the combined energies of The Green Ray, The Angelic Kingdom, The Elementals, Mother Gaia, the trees and mycelia network, the forests, and flora & fauna of the entire planet. 

Woodland Reiki incorporates the powerful Angelic 5th Devine Green Ray healing energies of  Archangel Raphael & Archeia Mareia (Mother Mary or Lady Virtue),  Ascendant Master Hilarion, The Dragons, the astral realms, and elemental kingdoms. 

When we connect mindfully with nature and attune to its energies; it acts as a kind of tuning fork to help our bodies remember what it’s like to be deeply relaxed, calm, joyful and safe.

Like our ancestors before us; our relationship with nature is a symbiotic one. 

Our bodies are still genetically attuned to living in the natural world. Hence why, whenever we spend time in nature our bodies start to relax and the stress related hormones begin to subside, making way for  the pathways to healing. 

Woodland Reiki also welcomes in any insight, healing and wisdom from our guides, ancestors, angelic, dragon and the elemental kingdoms.

Who are the Elementals and what is The Green Ray? 

As we mature into adult life, we tend to lose our connection with the magic and mystery of nature. As a child we may have been fortunate enough to spend time in nature, climbing trees, making dens, and engaging in imaginary play, where the scenes of nature were transformed into this magical kingdom we could play in. 

All our our favourite fantasy adventures are set in nature with magical beasts and beings; such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, NeverEnding Story, Wind in the Willows, or any book by Enid Blyton, for example.

Shamans and indigenous First Nations peoples lived in harmony with nature. But they also respected, honoured and connected with the unseen astral realms where they could commune and seek wisdom, healing and guidance from the spirit world; which also included the plant kingdom, the animals, and the elemental kingdom. 

The Elemental Kingdom is also known as The Green. For me personally; it is a deeply safe and welcoming space that I journey to regularly in my shamanic healing practice. But it was also a sanctuary for me as a child when my home wasn’t a safe place for me. 

The shamanic belief is that all life is sentient and thus has a soul, purpose, energy and wisdom. 

Essentially the Green Ray is associated with the resonant frequency of the planet and the frequency of love. Whereas the Elemental Kingdom consists of all the magical beings we’ve encountered in folklore, fantasy and fairytales; such as the fairies, the elves, the gnomes, the dryads, the fauns, the wood nymphs, devas, dragons, and many more. 

The Elemental Kingdom also includes the spirt beings of the plants, the mushrooms and mycelium, the crystals, the rocks, rivers, streams, mountains and oceans; as well as the energy of the elements, earth, air, fire, water and ether.

Woodland Reiki as a daily practice brings the energies and wisdom of the Elemental Kingdom to your whole system which boosts your personal healing journey and creates space for even more than you could ever have imagined happening.

By combining the discipline of Reiki and combining the healing powers of nature. Woodland Reiki is one of my most requested and powerful treatments. 

What happens in a Woodland Reiki session?

A Woodland Reiki healing session begins with an informal chat with you. We will talk about what intentions you have for your healing or insight. This first part can take approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

This is then followed by the healing session which can take up to 20 minutes. You can choose to sit or lie, and connect with the earth directly via grounding, or lay on the therapy bed. You are fully clothed during the session and will be provided with a blanket for warmth if required. 

Woodland Reiki can also be a hands on healing technique, but will also include shamanic drumming and guided meditation. 

At the beginning of the actual healing session, I will open a sacred, safe healing space. I will welcome in our guides, healers, nature beings, dragons, elementals, ancestors and other beings of light guided to work with us and who are appropriate for the healing session. 

I may do this quietly, or spoken while standing behind you (if you are seated) or stand beside you (if you opt for the therapy bed).

The healing guides will then send their healing energy through my hands to work through my drum, or into your body directly to the parts that need to be healed. Your body absorbs only as much healing energy it needs to heal.

This means that I am instructed by my guides when and where to place my hands. I will ask for your permission to gently touch your shoulders, knees, stomach or lungs. You would need to tell me whether you do not want to be touched at all.

Apart from receiving healing, our guides might also have messages for you. This can be any advice with regards to your current life situation, an alert to look out for or guidance on which direction to take.

While the healing is taking place, you may experience inner calm, peace and uplifting. Your own guides, and ancestors will also send you their unconditional love and will take your worries and fears away. Sometimes unexpected emotions may surface but know this is part of the healing process.

My healing guides will let me know when the healing is completed. At this stage I will ask my guides to anchor the healing, to ground my client firmly to the earth and ask Mother Gaia to send any excess healing energy to the parts of the world that are needed the most.

A follow-up chat takes place right after the healing session. We discuss what your experience was and how you are feeling. I often recommend one follow up session afterwards. It depends on the condition that needs to be healed.
