Marcela Lobos - Awakening Your Inner Shaman
The Rite of the Womb is a beautiful rite that was gifted to Marcela Lobos from a lineage of Medicine Women in the jungles of Peru. It is the 13th Rite of the Munay-Ki. The Rite is connected to the divine feminine energy, to the 13 moons of the year and the cycle of women's wombs.
The 13th Rite of the Womb came to Marcela Lobos in a dream, where four medicine women midwifed her as she birthed a baby representing her ancestral fear and pain that had become a blockage in her womb. Some years later, in a shamanic journey, the medicine women returned and gave Marcela the 13th Rite of the Womb to share with women around the world.
In the 13th Rite of the Womb we invite the energy of the medicine women and the spirit of the Jaguar to be with us as we initiate deep womb healing for ourselves, our ancestral lines, and our children who have yet to be born.
So let’s look at the science of Womb Healing
The Womb is a sacred center of consciousness that receives and holds energy and information. The womb can also be holding onto repressed emotions that we have been unable to acknowledge and release.
The Womb can also hold other people’s energy. This can come from past sexual partners, children, friends, or the ancestral wounds from your genetic lineage. The womb can also store birthing trauma, grief from abortions, miscarriages or sexual wounding.
With the ever evolving world of neuroscience and epigenetics; we now know how trauma can become embedded into the soft tissues of our bodies, resulting in trauma, PTSD, and other stress related illnesses and diseases.
In his groundbreaking book ‘The Body Keeps the Score’ by Bessel van der Kolk, and the earlier research of neuroscientist Dr Candace Pert who wrote ‘Molecules of Emotion’ we now have the science that backs up what shamans, and healers intuitively knew for centuries. That trauma can become trapped in our bodies, and manifests as a physical symptom/illness.
There is also the growing body of evidence known as Intergenerational Trauma; that‘s now showing how trauma can pass via our genes onto the next generation, or vice versa; how we can inherit the trauma from our ancestors which is embedded in their genes.
One leading researcher in this field is Dr Bruce Lipton who inspired Mark Wolynn to write his book ‘It didn’t start with you’ which was based on his own research into the field of generational genetic trauma. Mark states that unresolved traumas, some going back two or three generations, can ensnare us in feelings and situations that don’t even belong to us. They can forge a blueprint for our life, and can even pass onto our children
So with this scientific knowledge in mind; it is vital to your womb wellness and your overall feminine nature that you release, clear, and cleanse all of these heavy emotions out of your womb.
The collective feminine has been suppressed, denied and abused for centuries. Many still carry the wounding, the pain and resentment of their mother’s, their grandmothers and all female ancestors. Some may hold wounds of a past life or traumatic experiences in this lifetime that block their joy and happiness & prevent them from connecting to their feminine power.
The time is now for every woman to re-awaken and remember their powerful, loving and wise selves. By healing our wombs we heal our mothers, our grandmothers, our sisters and our daughters; which ultimately brings healing to Pachamama, our beautiful Mother Earth and her sacred waters.
